The Vibes of Leo
Leo’s are the kings and queens of the zodiac. They tend to walk with grace and have a regal and proud demeanor. Like the sun, Leos are warm, radiant and bright. Negatively, Leo’s can sometimes think they are above others and expect others to treat them highly. Leos tend to care (A LOT) about what others think of them. Leo's biggest fear is being disliked, slander, or being seen as a bad person. For this reason, Leo is usually well-behaved and obedient, just like royalty. Leo's think they are amazing and don't understand if someone doesn't like them. The confidence and self-assurance of Leo is quite impressive. Socially, Leo’s tend to be exuberant. They love to make others happy, tell colorful stories and bring good energy to the party. Leo rules pleasure, which is why they can be lots of fun. Leo can be creative, romantic, playful and funny. Leos light up the room simply by being themselves and love to brighten the days of others. Some zodiac signs love the fun, pride, laughter and games of Leo (like maybe Gemini and Libra) whereas other signs can see Leo as bratty, spoiled, pretentious, impulsive and self indulgent. (Perhaps like Capricorn and Pisces).
The polar opposite zodiac sign of Leo is Aquarius. Aquarius is rebellious, intellectual, a humanitarian, detached and thinks of others. On the other hand, Leo is poised, heartfelt, personal, values gratification and puts importance on the self. Aquarius is “us” and lives in the brain, whereas Leo is “me” and lives in the heart. Leo does not want to be seen as weird, dark or unconventional, so at times Leos can be judgemental towards eccentric folk. Aquarius is the misfit and proud oddball of the zodiac and views the world from a bird eye view perspective. This contrasts the popular and sunny Leo who is authoritative and proud. Even the astrological seasons can illustrate the contrasting qualities of these signs. For instance, Leo season is during the bright and fun summer, whereas Aquarius season is during the cool and productive winter. Although Aquarius and Leo are both friendly, determined and loyal, they are polar opposites and can learn from each other.
Furthermore, Leo likes to live lavishly, luxuriously and adores being pampered. Leo will treat themselves because they have the innate feeling that they deserve all the good things of life. Leo also values their kingdom and works hard to achieve their royal palace. Leo is loyal, focused and determined to attain their goals. Leo is like the magnificent Hercules. Leos will push themselves and be competitive so that they can be “on top” and attain personal greatness. But when Leo is done working, they tend to be lazy. Like a ferocious lion who hunts all day but then will sleep for 20 hours, Leo lives leisurely. As much as they work hard, Leo also plays hard and rests hard.
We often hear that Leo’s are self-centered, which let’s be real, is totally true. But Leos can't help it, the need of approval and attention is in their DNA. Leos need to be seen, heard and recognized. Leos have a bright light, and without regonisition their light can diminish. At times leos can feel like they do not matter, so they truly appreciate compliments and affirmations from their loved-ones. Luckly, it is effortless to admire and praise Leos since they are incredibly warm, good-natured and enthusiastic. Although Leos need lots of love, they also give lots of love. It goes both ways. Leo is generous. They usually love to be the party-planner or host, since they get to be in charge of the fun and get recognised for it. Some Leos can be bold and like the center of attention, whereas other leos can be quiet and shy. Regardless, all Leos need recognition or attention in some form.
Leo can be creative and artistic as well as acting and drama is in their wheelhouse. Leo’s tend to dress well and like fashion in order to be presentable. Leo is a fire sign. Stubborn, bossy and at times reactive, it is best to not anger the lion. As Leo is loving and heartfelt, when upset they can be fierce, combative and dogmatic. Leo can also be melodramatic and feel victimized, but Leo always works hard to be a “good person”. Incredibly loyal and passionate, Leo can be a devoted and affectionate lover… as long as you compliment them. In all, Leos have lots of love to give. They are generous, very supportive and can be cheerleaders for their loved ones. It is so easy to love a Leo with their truly admirable qualities.
