The Vibes of Virgo
Virgo is an earth and mutable sign ruled by the planet Mercury. One of the most well-known facts of Virgo is their perfectionism. Virgos want to do their work properly and efficiently. They are not lazy or like to cut corners. Virgo can be nit-picky and be very hard on themselves because they are perfectionistic. They notice all the small stuff. But as a consequence of their perfectionism, Virgo is detail-oriented and does their work thoroughly. They love to do a good job and can excel at administrative work. Virgo is obedient so they may not be free-spirited or spontaneous folk. Practical, responsible, grounded and logical, Virgo likes to follow rules. Unlike Sagitarius that thinks big, Virgo tends to think small. Instead of questioning big life questions like “Where do we come from?” Virgo prefers to wonder about earthly issues like “How do I do my taxes?” or “How should I organize my wardrobe?”. Virgo doesn't usually simply “believe” in spiritual topics either. Virgo is sensible but usually skeptical. Virgo can be pedantic and overly concerned with facts and information. For Virgo to believe in something it must make sense or have evidence. For instance, Virgos (and Capricorns) do not always believe in astrology.
Ruled by Mercury (the planet of intellect, communication and reason) Virgo is a cerebral sign. Like Gemini, Virgo is always in their head. On the positive, this mental energy allows thoughtfulness, efficiency and diligence. Negatively, Virgo is often worrying and overthinking. They can sometimes think of the worst outcomes possible. Some Virgos (not all) can be pessimistic. Additionally, because Virgo can worry easily, they can be very health conscious and have lots of care for themselves. Virgo is usually the one to keep up with routine medical appointments and self-care practices. However, Virgo can overthink and be a hypochondriac.
Furthermore, Virgo is known for being organized yet uptight. Some Virgo’s are actually innately unorganized and messy, but learn to be organized with time. There is usually chaos in their minds which consequently affects their surroundings. Thus, Virgos need schedules, to-do lists, agendas, calendars, etc.. to feel organized. As everyone likes to feel organized, it is a need for Virgo. Virgo maintains high standards but can be judgy towards others. They strive to be perfect and can struggle with rule breakers (like Aquarius) or spontaneous and loud folk (like Aries). Virgos tend to dress modestly, they like to match and are usually drawn to earthy tones.
To boot, nothing feels better for a Vigro than accomplishing tasks. Being an earth sign, Virgo is down to earth, practical, simple, goal orientated and needs to feel secure. Although Virgo is hard working, they are stealthy about it. Virgo is the most modest zodiac sign. Virgo is humble and are not the ones to flash their accomplishments.
Additionally, Virgo is very sweet, withdrawn and shy. They can be extroverted but it is in a soft way. Virgo is polite and likes to treat others with respect. Virgo might not be the most social or talkative as Virgo prefers intimate encounters. They would rather connect with someone 1 on 1 instead of entertaining crowds at a party. There is a sense of safety when being in the presence of Virgo, as they aren't wild or impulsive. Romantically, Virgo likes to serve and feel useful. They will always offer a helping hand to their loved ones as their love language is usually an act of service. Virgo might not be lovey-dovey, touchy-feely, or express their love with words, but they are serviceable like cooking a meal or offering advice. The symbol of Virgo is the virgin. Like a virgin who waits until marriage to have sex, Virgo likes to feel pure and correct. However, this does not mean all Virgos are virgins. Virgos usually comes across sweet, normal and innocent, but can actually be highly sexual, kinky and slightly twisted. In all, elegant, helpful, kind and poised, it is easy to love a Virgo.
