The Vibes of Cancer
Ahhhhh Cancers are the sweetest little love bugs (or should I say love…crabs?). Known for being affectionate, nurturing and emotional, Cancer is the stereotypical “mother” of the zodiac. They are protective, caring and value emotional connections deeply. Cancer is ruled by the Moon, making them intuitive and empathetic. Cancer (sun, moon and rising) must trust themselves. Their emotions and inner guidance system is their super power. Negatively, Cancer is thin-skinned and easily offended. They may over-personalize things because they are so sensitive. Full of deep emotions, Cancer can sometimes be dramatic and aggressive. Cancer can sulk and be moody, cranky, and snappish. Like the ebb and flow of water, Cancer is up and down. To deal with their sadness, Cancer will often withdraw to their private safe space to process their emotions. They need their alone time. So although Cancer might scream, cry or be upset easily, it is because they have precious and caring hearts. When they love, they love hard. Although they are sensitive folk, Cancer can be silly, youthful and playful when they are happy.
Cancer values family (which includes chosen family) and loves to stay-in and get all cozy. Cancer is a homebody and is the sign of nurture and comfort, not excitement and physical activity. So Cancer can often be a hermit, dull and lazy. Cancer sun and Cancer rising may gain weight easily, specifically water weight and around the stomach. Cancer sun and cancer rising may also have digestive or stomach issues. So they should eat food and exercise in a way that makes their bellies happy. Fiercely loyal, Cancer will be there for you in a time of need. They are also sentimental and have a hard time letting go. Cancer loves to keep objects and mementoes of their precious memories, but it can lead to hoarding. Cancer can be possessive with objects that mean alot to them, but can they also be possessive with people. Nevertheless, Cancer folk are devoted and love full-heartedly.
Sweet, polite, calm and sometimes shy, Cancer has a warm energy. With a big loving aura, Cancers can attract others who are struggling or need healing. And since Cancer just wants to help others, Cancer often gets involved in toxic relationships. Cancer must learn to set boundaries and find ways to cleanse and protect their energy. ( I suggest my SHIELD auric spray!). They should seek partnerships and friends who are sensitive to their emotions but do not seek healing from them.
Cancer may sometimes struggle with overly cerebral tasks, like data, memory or math. For instance, the cancer may not remember what you said, but will remember how you felt. Like Pisces, some Cancers may be better in artistic or poetic projects instead of mental work. Private, defensive and easily offended, Cancer may be guarded to protect themselves. They do not like to be pushed around or have their buttons pressed. To be close to a Cancer, it is important to be kind, gentle and compassionate.
Cancer is not weak. As a cardinal sign, Cancer is active, has great leadership qualities and likes to get things started. Also great with money, Cancer is frugal and usually does not spend frivolously. Cancer holds their loved ones close to their heart. Cancer goes through so much emotional turbulence in their lives, that they learn to be so strong and resilient. They are masterful with emotional intelligence. With a sensitivity to others, Cancer is often very kind to everyone. Cancer does not judge and can love anyone. They are the most protective, nurturing and empathetic zodiac sign. Cancer is meant to feel all of their emotions in its entirety, for the flowing movement of the good and the bad emotions is what makes Cancer so beautiful.
