Rose Kything - the healing powers of a flower.

I used artwork and words from Rebecca Campbels Rose Oracle in this blog. I inserted some of my favorite cards from her beautiful deck.

Flowers have been a sacred part of my healing journey. When I was sad, I would go for walks in nature to feel better. However, it wasn't until I discovered a giant dogrose bush near my house that I began to do some truly transformative healing. I was intrigued by the colours and smells of the flower. I felt like I was hypnotized by the rose, as she would invite me closer to appreciate her beauty. I thought wild flowers were cute, but I didn’t realize they had magical properties until I experienced it. I would simply hold a flower, look into it and breathe in. I began to be transported to a dream-like state that is sweet, gentle, healing, floral, euphoric and romantic. The spirit of the rose communicated with me. My sadness would melt away, my heart would open and I felt as healthy and pretty like a rose. It was as if she blessed me. It made me realize that like humans, plants also have a consciousness. Since that moment in 2017, I started to worship and honour the rose.

Upon discovering the precious abilities of a single rose, I dived deeper into understanding flowers - which lead me to essential oils. Rose oil is my favourite. Essences capture the effects of the flower as they contain the vibrational energy of the flower or plant. I studied the bioelectric energetic signature of plants, and discovered that of all the species that have been tested, roses had the highest frequency at 320 MHz. A healthy human body resonates at a frequency of 62-78 MHz, and diseases start when the frequency drops to 58 MHz. With a frequency that triples the energy of a healthy human, it was clear why I was so drawn towards the healing properties of the rose. By connecting and breathing with these highly vibrational substances, my vibration raised which can consequently help me feel healthier and happier. (Try the Hold Aura spray that I make. It is made with rose).

I didn’t know what it was called at the time, but I have been Kything since I was a child. Kything is the mystical celtic practice of connecting with the consciousness of nature, like plants, water, crystals or flowers. This is done by merging your soul with the spirit of the sacred energy that lives within all of nature. Meditating with crystals, walking barefoot, fire gazing, and hugging trees are a few of the ways that I practiced Kything. But the most mystical experience of Kything I experience is when I kyth with flowers.

I believe that every particle of our being is made up of energy. We are 99% energy and only 1% matter. All energy vibrates and has a frequency. Our energy changes as we interact within the psychic atmosphere of our immediate physical environment. As flowers have really good energy, it can consequently make us feel good if we are aware of it. I like to hold flowers next to my heart, smell their aromas, and truly be one with the flower. I appreciate their beauty, and respect them greatly. With time, I started to communicate with flowers telepathically and started to hear the gentle whispers of my soul. I truly feel my heart chakra open when I am near roses. I notice the shift. It feels as if the spirit of the rose mother is hugging me.

I love lilacs, crab apple flowers and sunflowers. But wild roses are my favourite. Each flower has a different vibe. For instance, I noticed that lilacs like being picked. Lilacs are abundant, uplifting and calming. She offers her petals to us, allowing us to cultivate them and place them in our homes. Thank you Lilac. Whereas wild rose have boundaries and do not wish to be picked. She prefers to be admired and stay connected to her branch.

The great rose has been a friend, healer and teacher of mine. I learned a lot from flowers and I am so grateful. A significant part of my healing and awakening is because of flowers. So thank you, thank you mother nature for gifting us with flowers. The energy of flowers is so potent. By consciously vibing with them, we learn the feminine wisdom that flows through us all. I now always stop to smell the roses. Also thank you to Rebecca Campbell for sharing her knowledge and talents.
